Can I get assistance from Devon? Devon employees can help you with almost any facet of your storage experience. We can supply you with all necessary packaging materials and advise you how to store and help you with needed information such as local truck rental, moving companies, apartment complexes, etc.

How long is the rental agreement? Rental agreements are month to month and automatically renew on the 1st day of each calendar month.

Are my stored items automatically insured? Insurance for your property is available as an added feature to your rental agreement. Speak with your Devon sales representative for more details.

Do I get discount if I rent for a longer period? Most Devon locations run specials and some provide an additional discount for accounts that pay for 11 months in advance. Speak with your Devon sales representative or go to the “special” item on our web-site for more details.

How secure are my stored items? Only you have access to your unit. Nobody else then you has a key to your unit. Most Devon buildings are electronically secured by video surveillance systems and an electronic alarm system through a 24-hour dispatch center.

What size units does Devon self storage have? The unit sizes can vary from the different Devon sites, but in general we offer anything from a 5 foot by 5 foot (8 feet high), or 3m3 (3m high) all the way up to business size storage spaces (over 1000 sq feet or 100 m2).

What hours is the office open? The business office is open from 9 am to 6 pm Monday thru Friday and 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday.

How often can I visit my unit? As long as your account is paid current, you may visit your storage unit as many times as you like during the posted access hours free of charge.

When can I get into the facility to access my possessions? Most facilities allow acess to units from 7.am to 7pm. Many locations offer extended access beyond the normal hours. Contact your local Devon location for specific times.

What promotions/specials does Devon have? Most facilities offer move in specials to new tenants. Contact your local Devon location or visit the specials on the web-site for more information.

How do I pay rent? Cash, check or credit card. You can sign up for automatic credit card payment, this will allow you to pay your rent on time without a trip to the facility.

Who is responsible for the care of my items while they are in storage? The facility is not responsible for a loss to your goods. Devon will keep a safe and secure facility but Devon is never in the care, custody or control of your stored goods. However Devon highly recommends taking out storage insurance and we offer a number of different options for customers.

When is rent due? Rent is due the 1st of each month and is considered late and a late fee imposed after close of business on the 5th of each month.
